- You must have a Master's Degree with 55% marks in a relevant subject.
- You must have cleared the NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by UGC or CSIR.
- OR You can have a Ph.D. degree that follows the UGC regulations (Exempted from NET).
- Associate Professor:
- You must have a good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant subject.
- You must have a Master's Degree with at least 55% marks.
- You need a minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching or research.
- You must have published at least 7 research papers in peer-reviewed journals.

- You need a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in a University or College.
