Essential Qualification
- ANM/Maternity Assistant
- A pass in 10th Grade or its equivalent.
- Diploma in Multipurpose Health Worker (Female) or Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwife.
- Registration as a Midwife in any State Nursing and Midwifery Council in India.
Selection Process
- Selection based on knowledge of regional language (Tamil, Malayalam, or Telugu).
- Written Competitive Examination (Objective Type).
- Paper-I (10th Standard Level): General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Science & Social Science, General Studies & Current Affairs, English Language & Comprehension (100 Marks, 2 hours).
- Paper-II (Diploma Level): Subjects related to Health, Nursing, Midwifery (100 Marks, 2 hours).
- Negative marking of 0.25 for wrong answers.
- Weightage: Paper-I 25%, Paper-II 75%.
- Minimum qualifying marks: UR 30%, MBC/OBC/EWS/EBC/BCM 25%, SC/PwBD/XSM 20%.
