There are some important rules about age limits. The minimum age required is 18 years and the maximum age is 27 years. However, there is age relaxation for some categories. Essential Qualification
- Diploma Apprentice:
- Candidate must have a Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the relevant field like Civil, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical.
- The diploma must be from a recognized board or council.
- Engineering Graduate Apprentice:
- Candidate must have a Degree in Engineering or Technology.
- The degree should be in fields like Computer, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Shipbuilding.
- The degree must be from a recognized university.
- General Stream Graduate Apprentice:
- Candidate must have a degree in B.Com, B.B.A, B.C.A, or B.S.W.
- The degree must be from a recognized university.
Important Note: Only those candidates who have passed their Degree or Diploma on or after 01/04/2021 are eligible to apply. Candidates who have already done apprenticeship training are not eligible.
Selection Process
- Merit List Preparation: Selection is based on marks. 80 percent weightage is given to your educational qualification marks.
- Interview: 20 percent weightage is given to the interview marks.
- Document Verification: Candidates will be called to verify their original certificates.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate.
