Essential Qualification
- Clerk
- Candidate must have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Candidate must have passed 10th Grade (Matriculation) with Hindi as one of the subjects.
- Candidate must have proficiency in Computer Operation (Word Processing and Spreadsheets).
- Stenographer Grade III
- Candidate must have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Candidate must pass a test at a speed of 80 WPM in English Shorthand and 20 WPM in transcription of the same on a computer.
- Candidate should have proficiency in Computer Operation (Word Processing and Spreadsheets).
Selection Process
- Written Examination (For Clerk Only): This exam will have questions on English Composition (50 Marks) and General Knowledge (50 Marks). Candidates must get 33% marks in each subject and 40% in total to qualify.
- Shorthand Test (For Stenographer Only): Candidates must pass the English Shorthand test at 80 WPM and transcription at 20 WPM.
- Computer Proficiency Test: Candidates who pass the written or shorthand test will take a computer test (Word Processing and Spreadsheets). Marks from this test are not added to the final merit list; it is just qualifying in nature.
