Who Can Apply Check Here Eligibility
- Need a Masters degree with 55% marks minimum if General.
- Need 50% marks minimum if OBC-NCL SC ST PwD Third gender.
- Or need a 4-year Bachelors degree with 75% marks minimum if General.
- Need 70% marks minimum if Reserved categories with 4-year degree.
- Students in final year Masters or final year 4-year Bachelors can apply too.
- For JRF only: Must be 30 years old or younger on 01/06/2025. Some age relaxation available.
- For Assistant Professor or PhD Admission: No age limit to apply.
About the Exam Papers
- Test is on a computer CBT.
- Total time is 3 hours or 180 minutes.
- There is no break between papers.
- You get two papers at the same time.

Steps to Apply Online
- Visit the website NTA UGC NET Portal
- Sign up with your email and phone number.
- Fill the online form carefully. Save the Application Number.
- Upload your photo size 10Kb to 200Kb and signature size 4kb to 30kb.
- Pay the fee online using Net Banking Card or UPI. Save the payment proof.
- Download and print the final Confirmation Page.
