Essential Qualification

  • Junior Scale Stenographer
    • Must have passed 10+2 examination.
    • Shorthand Speed: English 80 WPM or Hindi 70 WPM.
    • Typing Speed: English 40 WPM and Hindi 30 WPM.
    • Knowledge of Computer Word Processing.
  • Junior Technician (Laboratory)
    • B.Sc. in Horticulture/Forestry/Agriculture or B.Sc.
  • Technical Assistant Gr-I (Field)
    • At least 2nd Division in B.Sc. (Horticulture/Forestry/Agriculture).
  • Driver
    • 10th Grade from a recognized board.
    • Must have a valid heavy and light vehicle driving license for hilly areas.
  • Laboratory Attendant
    • 10+2 with Science from a recognized board.

For all posts, knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh is desirable.

Selection Process

  1. Written Examination: An objective type (MCQ) written test of 100 marks will be held.
  2. Skill Test (Qualifying): Candidates for Stenographer posts will undergo a typing and shorthand test. Driver post applicants will have a practical driving test.
  3. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify will be called for document verification. Final merit will be based on marks from the written exam only.
